Overview of sketch and Job
Sketch is a unique entertaining place, with 3 video programmes each day, changing every 4 to 7 weeks. Previous events organised at sketch range from the Film premiere of Bad Boys II, to the pre Bafta awards party. Sketch is renowned in London for its food, the atmosphere, and furthermore its design incorporating an exceptional bespoke audiovisual system using 12 video projectors in a square room and a sound system dispatched in 5 rooms.
Good presentation and the quality of the audiovisual, help sketch to invite the best artists (musicians, DJs, contemporary artists) and target the most creative and innovative clients. It is therefore essential for the ideal candidate to help the artists, event organisers, music director, art curator, etc., to use the equipment to its maximum potential and suggest the best audio-visual presentations. This is a great opportunity for the AV technician to meet people from the media, DJs, artists, etc. and be part of one of the most entertaining place
in London.
Key Skills Required
Audio, Video and Lighting. Distinct advantage-
BSS Soundweb, Projection, Knowledge of Video Production, Video Servers*encoding MPEG2, good IT skills.
Job Function:
Execution of audiovisual operations within the business.
Main Duties*Responsibilities
• Operation and support of technical systems.
• Executing special requests from the Operations Manager regarding technical systems.
• First line maintenance of the technical systems and equipment.
• Assisting the Operations and Events Managers in the planning and production of special events.
• Assisting in the planning and production of special in-house events*parties.
• Attending departmental meetings.
• Attending in-house events meetings.
Contracted Hours:
Forty hours per week including some night and weekend work as required.
